Delivering critical media signals with case-hardened security our customers expect

Overview
Secura IP receivers can decode or decrypt individually secured media flow(s) from the Ethernet IP switch using AES256 keys. The Secura IP receiver will restore, or decrypt, corresponding secured media to its native HDMI format according to the authorization that is granted for each given media signal.
In an Ethernet IP environment, Secura A/V over IP transmitters convert HDMI signals to industry-standard IP transport signals, which are then routed using a media-class, enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) IP switch from Arista. The Source media is secured using FIPS 140-2 AES 256 encryption that can only be accessed by the corresponding Secura IP receiver configured for decryption of the specified IP flow.
Features
- AES 256 encryption with static key
- 1 GB/s payloads using JPEG light compression for extremely low latency (< 15ms)
- PESA’s exclusive Secura Control Suite for IP configuration/control, endpoint management
- HDMI audio including Dolby, and others
- Available as Receiver (Rx) and/or Transmitter (Tx) endpoints
- Video scaling
Flexible network routing for video and audio
Secura A/V over IP modules are initially configured as paired transmitter/receiver sets, but any module can be configured as a either a transmitter or receiver using Secura control software.
- Secura A/V over IP transmitters encrypt video data from the host for secure, encoded transport over an Ethernet infrastructure.
- Secure video data is received by Secura A/V over IP receiver modules, which decrypts the video data sent via the transmitter module and delivers video output to the destination monitor or workstation.
- Encrypted data is routed between Secura A/V over IP modules through an Arista COTS IP switch or routing device.
- Only a properly configured and identified Secura A/V over IP receiver module can decrypt the IP data stream broadcast by a Secura A/V over IP transmitter.

Secure and reliable audio and video transmission
Video data between the transmitter and receiver is protected with NSA compliant, AES256 encryption, guaranteeing confidentiality of the streamed content.

Analog audio embedding/de-embedding
External analog audio may be embedded to replace original HDMI audio. Audio may also be output over HDMI video or HDMI audio may be de-embedded to a rear panel audio connector.

Power over Ethernet
Secura KVM features Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE+), providing operating power for networking communication over a single Cat_x Ethernet cable. Secura A/V over IP is compliant with PoE+ standard IEEE 802.3at. An external power supply may be added for power redundancy.
